Use kind, specific details

Mention a hobby, a new skill or something thoughtful the child did. Keep the note encouraging without claiming surveillance or judging whether they have been good enough. Avoid using the card to threaten the loss of presents.

Make promises carefully

Do not promise a particular gift or visit unless you intend to make that happen. Describe a cheerful workshop, snowy scene or another festive illustration. Use only the child details you are comfortable including in a privately shared card.

A LITTLE INSPIRATION

A message to make your own

I hear your imagination has been busy this year. Keep making, wondering and finding little ways to be kind. Wishing you a wonderfully cozy Christmas!
